The Economic Growth of Papua Barat in the 4rd Quarter of 2024 reached 20,80 percent (c-to-c)

Economy of Papua Barat based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2024 reached by IDR 76,177.48 billion and at 2010 constant prices reached IDR 49,486.23 billion.
Economy growth of Papua Barat in 2024 reached 20.80 percent, higher than growth in 2023 which reached 5,18 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Manufacturing Industry at 32.90 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by Component of Goods and Services Export at 16.10 percent.

Papua Barat's economy in quarter IV-2024 compared to quarter IV-2023 experienced growth of 22.11 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, Manufacturing Industry experienced the highest growth of 36.91 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Component of Household Consumption Expenditure (PK-RT) experienced the highest growth of 4.80 percent.

Papua Barat's economy in quarter IV-2024 compared to quarter III-2024 experienced contraction of 2.21 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, Transportation and Storage experienced the highest growth of 7.18 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) at 15.78 percent.
