Economic Growth of Papua Barat Daya Province in 2024 reached 3,60 percent

Economy of Papua Barat Daya based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2024 reached by IDR 37,040.34 billion and at 2010 constant prices reached IDR 24,873.72 billion.

Economy growth of Papua Barat Daya in 2024 reached 3.60 percent, higher than growth in 2023 which reached 1.82 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Accommodation and Food Services Activities at 7.82 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by Consumption Expenditure of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) at 13.08 percent. 

Papua Barat Daya's economy in quarter IV-2024 compared to quarter IV-2023 experienced growth of 2.49 percent (y-on-y). In terms of Wholesale and Retail Trade, Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles the highest growth of 6.72 percent. In terms of expenditure, Component of Goods and Services Export experienced the highest growth of 8.90 percent. 

Papua Barat Daya's economy in quarter IV-2024 compared to quarter III-2024 experienced growth of 1.93 percent (q-to-q). In terms of Transportation and Storage experienced the highest growth of 7.60 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) at 14.09 percent.
