Criminal Statistics of Papua Barat Province 2021

This 2021 West Papua Province Criminal Statistics publication is the sixth edition that presents data and information related to security and crime that has occurred in West Papua. The data presented in this publication are sourced from the West Papua Regional Police (Polda) and Polres / Polresta throughout West Papua. In addition, we obtained some other supporting data from the results of the 2021 Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) held by BPS. The data from the police describes the security situation as indicated by the number of crimes reported by the public to the police. Meanwhile, the Podes data describes the security situation in the village / kelurahan area sourced from local village officials. Data and information from households related to crime victims are not displayed due to the limited availability of data from districts / cities.
