Criminal Statistic of Papua Barat Province 2018

This 2018 Papua Barat Province Criminal Statistics publication is the sixth edition which presents data and information related to security and crime that occur in Papua Barat. The data presented in this publication is sourced from the Police Regions (Polda) of Papua Barat and Polres / Polresta throughout Papua Barat. In addition, we obtained some other supporting data from the results of the 2018 Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) organized by BPS. Data from the police illustrates the security situation as indicated by the number of crime incidents reported by the public to the police. Meanwhile, Podes data illustrates the security situation in the village / kelurahan area which is sourced from local village officials. Data and information from households related to crime victims is not displayed due to the limited availability of data from the Regency / City.
