The year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of Papua Barat Province in April 2025 was 0.15 percent.

The year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of Papua Barat Province in April 2025 was 0.15 percent with it’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.95. 

Inflation occurred as the prices went down, as indicated by the increase in five expenditure groups indices, namely: Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel Group of 0.68 percent; Furnishings, Household Equipment, and Routine Household Maintenance Group of 1.11 percent; Education Services Group of 6.30 percent; Food and Beverages Services/Restaurants Group of 2.39 percent; and Personal Care and Other Services Group of 4.67 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure groups that recorded a deflation were: Food, Beverages and Tobacco Group of 1.12 percent; Clothing And Footwear Group of 0.03 percent; Health Group of 0.03 percent; Transportation Group of 2.20 percent; and Information, Communication, and Financial Services Group of 0.54 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that did not experience changes in the index were Recreation, Sport and Culture Group.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year-to-date (y-to-d) deflation rate of Papua Barat Province in April 2025 were 0.55 percent and 0.92 percent.
