Abstract
The total workforce in Southwest Papua in February 2024 will be 314,205 people. Together with this, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) for Southwest Papua Province is 67.45 percent. The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) for February 2024 is 6.02 percent.
The working population is 295,276 people. The employment sector with the largest percentage is the agricultural sector (33.33 percent). Meanwhile, the sector with the smallest percentage is the Real Estate Sector (0.00 percent).
A total of 159,463 people (58.55 percent) worked in informal activities. The percentage of underemployed decreased by 14.10 percent.
