Construction Expense Index of Papua Barat Province 2024

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for 2024 is a price index that illustrates the level of construction costs in a district/city compared to the reference city, which is Banjarmasin. The reference city is selected by considering the index value of a city that approximates the national average index, completeness of data, and the city's position in trade routes. The CCI in this publication is presented for 7 (seven) districts/cities in the Papua Barat Province.The calculation of the 2024 CCI is derived from the results of the Construction Cost Price Survey (CCPS) conducted in the third and fourth quarters of 2023, as well as the first and second quarters of 2024. This survey collects data on the prices of materials, heavy equipment rentals, and construction service wages. The weighting diagram calculation for the CCI uses data from the Bill of Quantity (BoQ), the Ministry of Public Works and Housing's Unit Price Analysis Book, and the realization data of Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). The 2024 CCI is one of the main components used for calculating the General Allocation Fund for the 2025 Fiscal Year.This publication is the tenth edition at the provincial level of Papua Barat and the second edition with separated data coverage from Papua Barat Daya Province. The coverage of the 2024 CCI publication includes districts in the Papua Barat Province. It is hoped that this publication's information can be useful for fulfilling the data needs of data users, especially decision-makers, in planning and evaluating infrastructure development programs in the Papua Barat Province.
