Consumer Price Index and Inflation in Papua Barat Province 2021

In determining policies in the regional economy, local governments need tools the right assistance in order to realize the policies that are right on target, effective, and efficient. In connection with that matter, West Papua Provincial BPS sees it necessary to publish Consumer Price Index Publications and West Papua inflation in 2021 to meet the needs of data users and as a means the price of goods and services at the end consumer level. Economic development through government policies requires the availability of statistical data accurate, fast, precise, and continuous in order to realize the improvement of the quality of people's lives. In this connection, the West Papua Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS) deems it necessary publishing West Papua Consumer Price Index and Inflation Publication 2021 which is published in order meet the needs of data users and as an indicator of development through rivers prices of goods and services at the level of end consumers. This publication contains data aggregation of the CPI, consumer prices, monthly inflation and monthly inflation running (point to point) for West Papua Province in 2021. The aggregation is formed from two cities SBH, namely the City of Manokwari and the City of Sorong, broken down by expenditure groups and sub-groups commodity that is useful especially for decision makers, planning and evaluation compilers, either agencies / agencies and individuals.
