Sorong Selatan Regency year-on-year (y-o-y) consumer price index’s development experienced inflation by 2,17 percent in May 2025.

On May 2025, Sorong Selatan Regency year-on-year (y-o-y) consumer price index’s development experienced inflation by 2,17 percent with consumer price index is on 110,61.

This y-o-y inflation occurred due to price increment, reflected in the increase of the indexes on the following expenditure groups, such as: food, beverages, and tobacco increased by 3.29 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuels increased by 2.49 percent; household equipment and routine maintenance increased by 1.26 percent; health increased by 1.56 percent; transportation increased by 0.11 percent; education increased by 1.92 percent; and provision of food and beverages or restaurants increased by 1.77 percent. 

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Sorong Selatan Regency in May 2025 are 0.30 percent and 0.77 percent.
