Abstract

  • In April 2025, the Farmers’ Terms of Trade (FTT) of Papua Barat Province was recorded at 99.41 or increased by 0.18 percent compared to March 2025.
  • The increase in FTT was due to an increase in the price index received by farmers (It) and the price index paid by farmers (Ib). The index of prices received by farmers (It) increased by 0.47 percent, whereas the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rose by 0.29 percent.
  • The price index of household consumption (IKRT) increased by 0.38 percent in Papua Barat Province, primarily driven by a 2.66 percent increase in the index for the Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuels expenditure group.
  • In Papua Barat Province, Agricultural Business’s Terms of Trade (NTUP) was 104.55 in April 2025, showing a 0.49 percent increase compared to the previous month’s NTUP.
