Abstract

In March 2024, the poverty rate in Papua Barat Daya is 18.13 percent.
In March 2024, 102,27 thousand individuals in Papua Barat Daya lived in poverty.
In the context of urban/rural areas, the urban area has a poverty rate of 8.51 percent. In contrast, the poverty rate in rural areas is 27.78 percent.
In March 2024, the urban area had 24,04 thousand poor people, while the rural area had 78,23 thousand poor people.
As of March 2024, the poverty line in Papua Barat Daya is Rp756,237.00 per capita per month, with food poverty and non-food poverty lines at Rp563,575.00 (74.57 percent) and Rp192,662.00 (25.48 percent), respectively.
In March 2024, the average number of household members in impoverished households was 7.03. In other terms, the average monthly poverty line for each household in Papua Barat Daya is Rp5,316,346.00.
