The number of domestic air transport in August 2023

The number of domestic air transport in August 2023 declined by 13.69 percent compared to July 2023. In addition, the number of domestic air transport passengers dropped by 9.34 and the freight transported by domestic sea transport decreased by 11.17 percent.

Data of air transport collected at 16 airports in Papua Barat and Papua Barat Daya Province.

The number of domestic air transport in August 2023 was 2,176 flights, a decrease of 13.69 percent compared to previous month.

The number of domestic air transport passengers in August 2023 was recorded at 148,105, decreasing by 9.34 percent compared to July 2023.

The freight transported by domestic air transport decreased by 11.17 percent in August 2023, reaching 1,767.49 tons.
